What’s New for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson?

The fourth-generation Hyundai Tucson launched in 2022, and the mid-generation 2025 Tucson introduces an updated facade that enhances its modern appeal. There are also several updates to the design and features in the cabin. What can you expect from the revamped 2025 Tucson?

On the exterior, the bumpers on both ends and the grille and wheels have new looks. The wheels have a machined look with Y-shaped spokes, and this design perfectly complements the edgy, slanted creases running across the sides. The wheel molding is moderately squared-off and has definition points. The rear bumper has a sporty side with its upturned look. It complements the long LED light bar and triangular LED taillights. The reshaped front bumper has an A-style design with a grid-like pattern. The grille shows off a staggered, wide-spaced mesh pattern, flanked by bold headlights that show off four horizontal LED bars.

In the cabin, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson’s dashboard now has a pair of display screens for the infotainment system and digital gauges, and these are joined together in the same rectangular housing. Both the steering wheel buttons and the climate control system interface are modernized.

The technologies and features in the 2025 Tucson are otherwise unchanged. Some of its features are leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, memory settings for the driver’s seat, lane-keeping assistance, a surround-view camera, a blind-spot camera, parking collision avoidance, a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters with a heated steering wheel, a Bose audio system, a navigation system, an auto-dimming rear mirror, and other items.

From a performance perspective, the Tucson is unchanged. The gas engine in the lower trims is a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter system that generates 187 horsepower. It comes with an eight-speed auto transmission and either all-wheel or front-wheel drive. The hybrid powertrain combines an electric motor with a turbo 1.6-liter engine, and this system produces 226 total horsepower. It has a six-speed auto transmission with standard all-wheel drive.
