2026 Hyundai Santa Fe vs 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid

Serving Mentor, OH

The practical, stylish Hyundai Santa Fe is one of two three-row models in the 2026 lineup. It delivers the functionality that you need, along with the comfort and technologies you want on the road. In 2026, the Santa Fe Hybrid is offered alongside the Santa Fe as a separate model. What should you know about these models’ differences before selecting your new SUV?

Performance

The 2026 Santa Fe offers one gas engine across its five trim levels. This is a turbo 2.5-liter, four-cylinder system that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. For all trims, the Santa Fe is available with standard front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade.

The Santa Fe Hybrid is available with the same trim levels as the Santa Fe has with the exception of the XRT trim. This model is powered by an electric motor mated with a turbo 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine. It produces 231 combined horsepower and comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains are available for the Santa Fe Hybrid.

Appearance

There are no significant differences in the styling of the Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Hybrid. These models are boldly styled with tall dimensions, a cube-like cabin, and a tall yet curved front end. The side doors are thickly lined with dark molding. A thin crease runs above the molding and links to the flared, edgy fenders. An LED ribbon runs across the rectangular grille. It connects with the multi-elemental, square LED headlights. Exterior features offered in both models include auto wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, and more.

Features

The features offered in the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid include a hands-free power liftgate, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, lane keeping assistance, wireless smartphone app connections, a driver attention warning, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a digital key, second-row captain’s chairs, heated seats in the first and second rows, and more. The Santa Fe is also available with highway driving assist, a navigation system, dual wireless charging pads, and a household-style power outlet.
